1. Who is responsible

Swiss law applies, specifically the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), in force since 1 September 2023. Where visitors from the EU, EEA or the UK are concerned, we follow the corresponding provisions of the GDPR and UK GDPR.
2. Data processed when you visit
Server log data. When you open a page, the hosting provider records the technical data every web server records: your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the page and to detect abuse.
Purpose: secure and reliable operation of the site. Legal basis under GDPR: Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest. Retention is determined by the hosting provider. Hosting provider: Replit, Inc., United States.
Cookies. This site sets no cookies.
Analytics. We use no web analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising technology and no user profiling.
Fonts. All typefaces are served from this website's own server. No font provider receives your data.
Contact. There is no contact form. If you write by email, your message and address are processed to answer you, and kept as long as the exchange requires.
External links. Links to other websites are ordinary hyperlinks. Nothing is loaded from them while you are here, and they receive no data unless you click through.
3. Transfers abroad
The hosting provider is in the United States. Switzerland recognises the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies. Where a provider is not certified, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the Swiss addendum. You may ask us for details of the safeguards in place.
4. Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and, where applicable, receive your data in a portable form.

If you are dissatisfied, you may complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, Switzerland, or, if you are in the EU or EEA, to your national supervisory authority.
5. Children
This site is not directed at children, and we knowingly collect no data from anyone under 16.
6. Changes
We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
